Connect your Contentful space to LMSMore and build courses where your team already writes. Hand this guide to whoever manages your Contentful space: they copy a few keys from Contentful into the LMSMore admin console.

Follow these three simple steps to connect your Contentful space and start creating courses
Connect Your Space
Link your Contentful space to LMSMore using your API credentials.
What to do:
- Log into your LMSMore admin dashboard
- Go to Content Source and open Contentful
- Enter your Contentful Space ID and Delivery API token
- Click 'Test Connection' to verify everything works
- Save your configuration
You can find your Space ID and API tokens in Contentful under Settings → API keys.
Install Content Types
When you run it, the install creates LMSMore's content types in your Contentful space.
What to do:
- Enter your Content Management API token (used for this install, not saved)
- Review the content types that will be created
- Click 'Install Content Types' to add them to your space
- Content types already in your space are not recreated; an existing Lesson type only gains new block types it can embed, such as Lesson Video
This is the step that writes to your space: it creates and publishes the LMSMore content types that are not already there, such as courses, modules, lessons, assessments and learning paths.
Import Sample Content
Optionally load sample courses to see how everything works together.
What to do:
- Choose to import sample content (recommended for first-time setup)
- Sample courses include Compliance Essentials and Product Knowledge 101
- The sample entries are created and published in your space
- Use samples as templates for your own courses
The sample content token is used once by the setup job that needs it, and deleted with that job within an hour. Sample entries can be deleted in Contentful whenever you like.
You're All Set!
Once connected, we read your Contentful space on every page view: your space is the only source of course content. Publish a course and your learners can enroll from the catalog straight away.

Read on Every View
We read your space on every page view, so learners see what you published. There is no sync job, nothing to wire up in your CMS, and no copy stored on our side.
English Only
Lessons show your content as it exists in your CMS; the LMSMore app around it is in English only.

Courses are built from the LMSMore content types in your space. Other content types in your space are not read.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need technical expertise to set up the integration?
No. The setup wizard guides you through each step; you copy and paste API tokens from Contentful.
Will this affect my existing Contentful content?
The install creates the LMSMore content types that are not already in your space. Content types already in your space are not recreated; an existing Lesson type only gains new block types it can embed, such as Lesson Video. The optional sample content step creates sample entries, and running it again updates those same sample entries. Otherwise we only read your space: courses you write are read, not edited, and nothing is written to your space unless you run one of these two steps.
Can I use my existing Contentful content for courses?
Only content built on the LMSMore content types. There is no field mapping from other content types, so existing content needs to be entered as LMSMore courses, modules and lessons.
What happens if I update content in Contentful?
Publish them in Contentful. We read your space on every page view, so what a learner sees is what you published: there is no sync job, nothing to wire up in your CMS, and no copy stored on our side.
Is my data secure?
Delivery API tokens are encrypted at rest. The Content Management token is used during setup: the install uses it and does not save it, and the sample content step holds it only in the setup job that needs it, which is deleted within an hour of finishing.
Can multiple team members manage content?
Yes. Use Contentful's built-in roles and permissions. Your content team can work in Contentful while training admins manage the learning experience in LMSMore.
